The Volunteers of this ministry regard every Parishioner as “Family”. We help the Family of the Deceased plan the Readings and Music for the Funeral Mass and urge them to participate in the Mass. Consolation usually conducts the Prayer Service at the Wake.
At the Mass, we pray with and for the Family. Some of our Members serve as Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Ushers or Altar servers as needed.
